Decree No. 1420 of 2010 regulating the participation in fisheries by coastal fishing vessel groups in 2011 (Participation Decree).

This Decree lays down conditions at which vessels may participate in fisheries in coastal fishing vessel groups in Norway in 2011 and places restrictions on such fisheries. It specifies rules and criteria for fishing for various species of fish, types of vessels and gear and for specified areas. The types of fisheries include: fishing for cod with conventional gear north of 62 N°, fishing for coalfish, cod and haddock with conventional gear by vessels of over 28 metres of total length, trawling for shrimp in the North Sea and the Skagerrak and fishing for Norwegian young herring.
