Decree No. 1447 relative to seed potatoes.

The aim of this Decree is to guarantee the production of seed potatoes that are healthy and of the best possible quality. The Decree establishes criteria and requirements for the production, control, classification and placing on the market of seed potatoes. Only associations authorized by the National Food Authority may import, export, place on the market seed potatoes and carry out contract production of seed potatoes. The Decree sets out quality standards and rules regarding production, packing, labelling and testing of Norwegian seed potatoes.
