Decree No. 1458 of 2010 relative to establishment and operation of quarantine facilities for aquaculture animals.

The Decree provides for the approval of quarantine units in aquaculture establishments and provides rules relative to; movement of fish from and to such units (also in relation with importation from countries that are not a member of the EEA); to quarantine of imported live fish. Control and approval shall be done by the Norwegian Food Safety Authority; and testing, sampling and diagnosis of aquaculture animals.
