Decree No. 1470 of 1997 relative to zones for the prevention, limitation and the eradication of infectious salmon anaemia.

The Decree applies to aquatic organisms of the salmo salar species. Specified areas are declared infectious salmon anaemia free zone and other areas infected salmon anaemia zones. Living fish, milt, uninfected spawn and certain fish which have been reared or caught in infected areas shall not be sold and transported to other non infected areas and countries of the EEA area.
