Decree No. 1598 of 1986 relative the breeding parent fish species of salmon, rainbow trout and trout.

This Decree regulates the hatching of roe and the production of milt of salmon, rainbow trout, trout in establishments for the farming of edible fish. No one shall construct, install, expand, hold a majority stake in, operate, etc. a fish farming enterprise without a permission of the Director of Fisheries. Section 3 regulates the procedures of application for permits and section 5 specifies criteria for eligibility. Permits are usually given for installations with a capacity volume not exceeding thousand cubic metres. (10 sections)
