Abstract
The Decree prohibits fishing by vessels flying the flag of Norway in fishery zones of Greenland (ICES areas Va, XII and XIV and NAFO subarea 1) in 2011. However specified quotas of halibut, Greenland halibut, cod, pelagic or deep-sea red fish and some other deep-sea species may be caught in fishing areas of East or West Greenland. Other provisions deal with report to the Director of Fisheries, compulsory sailing dates to be established by the Directorate of Fisheries, redistribution of quotas, a stop on fishing, and offences and penalties.
