Abstract
This Decree prohibits fishing for the fish species tusk, ling and blue ling by Norwegian vessels in the economic zone of Iceland in the year 2009. However, article 2 allows for a catch of 500 tons of such fish species south of the 64° parallel on the seaward side of 12 miles measured from the baseline. It allows also for a bycatch of halibut (5 percent), greenland halibut (10 percent), and trunk red fish (10 percent). The total quota for Norway shall be equally divided among participating vessels. Fishing in the high seas by the same vessels is forbidden. The last sailing date is fixed at 7 August. (12 articles)
