Decree No. 237 of 2005 relative to control and reporting and related matters of fishing in the territorial and inner waters of Svalbard.

This Decree applies to Norwegian or foreign fishing vessels of any type fishing in the territorial and inner waters of Svalbard. These vessels shall fulfil reporting requirements as prescribed by article 2 regarding start of fisheries, report on catch, transhipment, entry into ports, end of fishing activities, and some other data. Article 3 concerns the keeping of a catch-register. Article 4 concerns inspection and identification of vessels in accordance with FAO Standard Specification for Marking and Identification of Fishing Vessels. (8 articles)
