Abstract
No fishing for sprat is allowed if the participating vessel does not meet the following requirements: the fisherman shall be registered in Part B of he Fishermen's Census; the fisherman shall use his own vessel and shall have at least two years of experience in fishing for sprat; the vessel shall be registered and be of a certain size and weight; the vessel shall be equipped for purse seine fishing for sprat. The vessels concerned shall report each year for control to check if required criteria are met. Control shall be carried out by the Control Office of the Directorate of Fisheries. (5 sections)
