Decree No. 549 of 1990 relative to hatching of roe and the breeding of fish for stocking.

This Decree regulates the hatching of roe and the production of fish for stocking of salmon, rainbow trout, trout and char species. No one shall construct, install, expand, hold a majority stake in, operate, etc. a fish farming enterprise without a permission of the Director of Fisheries. Section 3 regulates the procedures of application for permits and section 4 specifies reasons for refusal of a permit. The applicant shall submit an investment plan (sect. 5). Permits may be given under this Decree for a production capacity not exceeding 1 million of fish a year. (11 sections)
