Decree No. 551 of 1989 relative to measures of enforcement pursuant to Chapter IV of the Act relative to the breeding of fish, shellfish, etc.

In order to ensure the observance of provisions of the Act relative to the breeding of fish, shellfish, etc. (Fish Breeding Act of 1985), the present Decree empowers the fisheries authorities, i.e. the Directorate of fisheries or a public body which shall be duly authorized by the Directorate, to provide for the necessary enforcement measures. This Decree lays down rules for the formulation of penalties and the collection of penalties by the fisheries authorities. (9 sections)
