Abstract
Article 1 defines the application sphere of this Decree issued by the Ministry of Fisheries. It concerns notification of transportation of hazardous substances by sea-going vessels in accordance with provisions of the Act relative to navigable waters and ports of 1984. Leaving port or place of anchorage in the territorial waters of Norway or arrival from seas other than those of the European Community of vessels in the territorial sea of Norway shall be notified to the coast guard. Vessels shall in a conscientious and accurate manner fill out the form as contained in Schedule 1.
