Abstract
This Decree applies to vessels of 28 metres and more of total length which fish with conventional gear, i.e. other gear than trawl or seine and the owner of which holds a licence pursuant to Decree No. 1350 of 1999. The Decree aims, through assignment of unit (joint) quotas for vessels of more than one ship owner, at contributing to a rational management of fishing of cod, haddock and coalfish north of 62 N. Unit quotas shall be assigned to ship owners in accordance with criteria set out in article 6.
