Decree No. 884 of 1995 relative to the duty of notification and to provide information of anybody who receives or sells catch.

This Decree applies to anybody who receives or sells fish and fish products from Norwegian or foreign crafts. Buyers or receivers of fish shall report, on order of the Directorate of Fisheries in writing, on the arrival of vessels to the Directorate. The order shall be given in respect of a specified person or company. Landing of fish may not start before the notification order has been observed. (6 sections)
