Abstract
This Decree applies to sorted and unsorted eggs to be placed on the market for sale. The purpose is to secure the hygienic quality of eggs. It implements rules laid down in Attachments to the EEA Agreement. Rules are prescribed for the transportation and storage of eggs (sect. 4), the indication of last date of consumption (sect. 5) and the last date of sale (sect. 6). The State Food Control Agency (sect. 8) shall carry out control.
