The text of the Decree consists of 20 sections divided into 4 Chapter: Scope, application sphere and definitions (I); General provisions (II); Requirements relative to specific species (III); Final provisions (IV).
The Decree aims at the prevention of infectious diseases in relation with the importation and exportation from and to EEA countries and third countries of specified animal species, including furred animals, bird species, and animals of the porcine species, but excluding tame prigs and poultry. General requirements of Chapter II concern registered and approved breeding establishments, the health status, and health certificates. Chapter III contains specific requirements in relation with single animal species. (20 sections completed by a Schedule)
