Decree relative to delegation of authority to the Department of Fisheries (No. 3 of 1972).

This Decree empowers the Department of Fisheries to grant licences pursuant to section 4 of the Act regulating the participation in fishing in 1972 and to issue provisions pursuant to section 10 of the same Act. The power to enact these rules was originally vested in the King. Section 4 concerns the permission to introduce vessels or transfer or modification of vessels in the Marks Register (for fishing vessels). Section 10 concerns the establishment of catch quotas for the protection of fish resources.
