Abstract
This Decree makes provision for measures to prevent insects from damaging trees in forests and measures to prevent the reproduction of harmful insects in timber. Measures in forest include the protection of young trees, the proper treatment of felling waste, and the felling of damaged trees. Other measures which may be taken include the timely transport of timber and the use of insecticides. The municipal authorities concerned may require landowners or persons who have acquired the right to dispose of the timber to take protective measures.
