Delegation of authority in accordance with the Act to prescribe measures in respect of diseases of freshwater fish to county veterinarians (No. 626 of 1987).

With the present Decree, the Ministry of Agriculture delegates power vested in it, pursuant to sections 2, 4, and 8 of the Act to Prescribe Measures in Relation to Diseases Affecting Freshwater Fish, 1968 (probably repealed), to the county veterinarian concerned. Power is delegated to these local animal health officers "to prescribe measures or to do whatever else is necessary to prevent, limit, or eradicate diseases to which the present Act applies".
