Abstract
In accordance with section 28 of the Marine Fisheries Act, the Directorate of Fisheries is empowered to grant, in single cases, exemptions from the prohibition to carry out fishing operations within 100 metres of aquacultural installations in marine waters or to come within 20 metres of such installations. In single cases the Directorate may also regulate and prohibit fishing outside of these limits.
