Delegation of authority of the King pursuant to section 6 of the Act regulating the participation in fishing, No. 57 of 1972 (No. 955 of 1993).

This Decree confers certain powers of the King pursuant to section 6 of Act No. 57 of 1972 on the Department of Fisheries. The Department may place restrictions on the access to certain fisheries. The restrictions may be introduced in respect of the use of gear or the participation of vessels in certain categories of fishing groups. The delegation does not include regulation of participation of fishing for cod with conventional gear north of the 62nd parallel.
