Abstract
The Act shall apply to all diseases included in provisions of Act No. 2 of 1968 prescribing measures against diseases affecting freshwater fish. The list of diseases may be modified by the Ministry of Agriculture. All authority vested by the Act in the "Department" shall be vested in the Department of Agriculture and Forestry.

This provision enters into force on 16 July 1997.
Notes
Act No. 44 of 1990, which serves as a basis for the present Decree, is repealed by Act No. 54 of 1997. Decrees issued under the old Act remain in force insofar as their provisions do not contradict provisions of the 1997 Act.
