Regulation No. 1018 on the use of funds from the sales tax for professional activities and information activities.

The present Regulation lays down rules on the use of funds to promote the sales of products covered by Act No. 6 of 1936 relative to the marketing of agricultural products. Grants may be provided from the funds generated by the sales tax for the following purposes: 1. Advertising and sales promotion measures; 2. Professional information activities for producers; 3. Experimental activities and research; 4. Administrative costs; 5. Share of the membership fee to the Norwegian Agricultural Cooperatives (Landbrukssamvirke).
