Abstract
The provisions of this Regulation apply to the area of Svinesund, Iddefjorden and Enningdalselva up to the end of Northern Bullaresjø, according to the map attached. Fishing of salmon and trout is permitted in these areas by using wedged seines, rod and line, and to a maximum of two rods or lines for each person and a maximum of two per bait, rod or hand line. Wedge nets used to catch salmon and trout must not be closer than 100 meters and shall not exceed an overall length of 60 meters. In Svinesund area must tickle nets used for salmon and trout fishing not exceed an overall length of 25 meters between the following boundary lines: 1) from Vikstångsudde, boundary marker L, to Sorgenfrid, boundary marker M; 2) from Morvik southern tip of Ketterødsudden. East of a straight line drawn from Vikstångsudde, boundary marker L, to Sorgenfrid, boundary marker M, the wedge nets should not be closer to the border than 100 meters. Wedge nets may not be utilized between Friday at 18:00 to Monday at 06:00. In Enningdalselva area, south of the line Sundsudden, boundary marker C - Franz Backe (Ground), boundary marker D, fishing is not allowed. The ban does not apply to fishing with eels, as well as to fishing with rod or hand line for species other than salmon and trout. In the area north of the line Krokstrand Church northern boundary cairn-Brekke fishing with nets is permitted for species other than salmon and trout in the period from 1 October to 30 April.
Fishing shall follow the dimension criteria of 50 inches for salmons and 40 inches for trouts. Salmon and trout caught with illegal equipment should immediately be released back into the water.
