Abstract
The Regulation applies to the control of meat products for human consumption imported from third countries, and its purpose is to prevent the spreading of contagious diseases. Such products shall undergo inspection before being authorized for import, and Health Certificates shall be issued and granted once no harmful residues are found after inspection - in adherence to EU and national Regulations (No. 1137, No. 577, No. 1163, No. 1510 and No. 65).
