Abstract
It is not permitted for Norwegian vessels to fish in Icelandic economic zone in 2014. They are however authorized to fish a maximum of 500 tons of tusk, ling and blue ling within the Icelandic economic zone south of 64 degrees N, beyond 12 nautical miles from the coastline. Only vessels authorized to engage in fishing in accordance with Regulation No. 1419 can participate in the fishery. Bycatch of other species is authorized and shall not exceed 25% of quota expressed in article 2. Bycatch of 10% is authorized for Greenland halibut and deep sea redfish. Norwegian vessels fishing in Icelandic economic zone cannot fish in international waters on the same trip.
