Abstract
The regulations of this Order apply to fishing in international waters in the area north of 35 N and west of a line drawn along meridian 42 W to position 59 N 42 W and thence along meridian 44 W to the coast of Greenland (NAFO area). Those sections of the NAFO area are defined as divisions or sub-areas which are described by a number between 1 and 6 and the addition of one or more letters (example 3M). Norwegian fishing vessels are not permitted to fish or land cod in the NAFO area in 2014. However, they are authorized to up to 1 343 tons in the marine area 3M after which fisheries activity shall cease. Participating vessels must follow the regulations in adherence to the Convention on fishing in the NAFO area.
