Abstract
The purpose of this document is to establish pollock-fishing quota for the year 2014. It is not permitted to Norwegian vessels to fish for pollock in North Sea, the Norway's territorial waters and economic zone south of 62 N bound on the east by a straight line through Hanstholmen and Lindesnes and in EU waters in ICES area IV statistics. It is not permitted to fish in the Skagerrak, bound to the west by a straight line through Hanstholmen Lindesnes lighthouse and on the south by a straight line through the Skagen lighthouse to Tistlarna outside 4 nautical miles off the Swedish and Danish coasts. However, Norwegian vessels may fish and land in 2014 up to 39 439 tonnes of saithe in the Norwegian waters of the North Sea and the Norwegian Skagerrak waters outside the baseline. Of these quanitties 10 tonnes for research and education shall be allocated. All quantities in these regulations are indicated in live weight. Group quota details are listed in articles 3-7. Of the quantities caught, a 10% is allocated as by-catch.
