Abstract
This Document enforces rules with regard to 2014 cod-fishing in the North Sea and Skagerrak with is not authorized to Norwegian fishing vessels. However, exception is made if they participate in fishing and landing up to 2 330 ton of cod in Norwegian waters of the North Sea. Of this quantity 50 tons is allocated for research and educational purposes. Norwegian fishing vessels may fish up to 44 tons of cod in Norwegian waters of Skagerrak outside its baselines and all quantities in this document are indicated in live weight. Authorized group quota and total allowable catch are detailed in articles 3-4, bycatch authorized quantities under article 5. No transfer of catch between vessels is permitted. Penalties for non-compliance shall be based on articles 60-61 and 64-65 of the Marine Living Resources Act.
