Abstract
This Regulation applies to Norwegian and foreign commercial fishing for cod in the protected area around Svalbard. It is NOT permitted to fish for haddock in this area, however Norwegian and Russian vessels may fish for Norwegian Arctic cod around Svalbard within their allocated quotas is permitted. Vessels from EU may fish for Norwegin Arctic cod for a total allowable catch of 33 176 tons, and vessels from Faraoe Islands are permitted a total allowable catch of 1 822 tons.
