Abstract
The purpose of the present Regulation is to protect human health by preventing the sale of foodstuffs and feed that are contaminated by radioactive substances after a nuclear incident. For these purposes, it sets the highest limit values for radioactive contamination in foodstuffs and feed that are traded which can be temporarily applied after a nuclear incident (Annexes 1-3), and authorizes the Norwegian Food Safety Authority to adopt relevant regulations.
