Abstract
It is prohibited for Norwegian vessels to fish and land cod in 2015 in: a) the North Sea, Norway's territorial waters and economic zone south of 62 degrees , nor in the EU zone in ICES statistical area IV; and in b) Skagerrak, outside the Norwegian shore from Hanstholmen lighthouse Lindesnes lighthouse, and outside 4 nautical miles off the Swedish and Danish shores. Notwithstanding this prohibition, Norwegian vessels are allowed to participate, fish and land a maximum of 5 175 tons of cod in the North Sea. Of this quantity 50 tons shall be allocated for research and teaching purposes. Norwegian vessels may also fish up to 152 tons of cod in the Skagerrak area. Total allowable catch and quotas are listed under article 4. It is not prohibited to transfer catch between vessels.
