Abstract
This Regulation prohibits in principle Norwegian vessels to fish in Faroese fisheries zone in 2019. It is however permitted to fish: 2 300 tons of (blue) ling; 1 921 tons of tusk; 100 tons of saithe; 800 other species as bycatch. Only vessels that are authorized to engage in conventional group bottom fishing can fish the quotas mentioned. The Directorate of Fisheries may change the participant limits if the quotas are not fully used. The Regulation also specified bycatch. A maximum of 12 vessels can participate in fishing simultaneously. The fishing will be stopped when the total quotas are caught.
