Abstract
The purpose of this Regulation is to ensure the management of deer and beaver habitat, productivity and diversity. The Government shall facilitate a local, long-term management of commercial and recreational purposes to apply in the wildlife resources. For these objectives, regulations concerning the opening of the hunting of moose, deer, or beaver in the area, and caribou hunting range limits shall be established – together with the approval of quotas for the hunting season starting 1 May. Simultaneously, the authorities shall adopt a minimum water area on the basis of allocation of beaver hunting authorizations. Penalties in adherence to article 56 of the Wildlife Act shall be applied to non-compliance with this Regulation.
