Abstract
The Act consists of 60 sections divided into 12 Chapters: Scope and application sphere (I); Wildlife authorities (II); Protection of wildlife habitats (III); Species that may be hunted and hunting seasons; killing of animals without having regard to protection measures (IV); Hunting for deer species and beavers; criteria relating to grounds and right of shooting (V); Hunting and trapping of animals (VI); Rights relating to animals hunted (VII); Joining of properties into common hunting grounds (VIII); Compulsory hunter's tests, hunter's fees, taxation of killed animals, and Wildlife Fund (IX); Miscellaneous rules (X); Dogs (XI); Penal provisions and entry into force (XII).
The wildlife administration shall consist of: the Wildlife Department, the Directorate of Nature Conservation, County Governors, and municipalities (sect. 4). Chapter VI prescribes rules relating to hunting methods. Hunting Charges shall flow into a Wildlife Fund, which shall be used for wildlife enhancement purposes (sect. 43).
