Abstract
The purpose of this Regulation is to prevent, reduce and combat infectious salmon anemia (ISA) in aquaculture animals. The Regulation applies to establishing monitoring areas consisting of combat zone and surveillance zone in Kv nangen municipality in Troms. Fish farming of salmonids in the surveillance zone shall submit weekly to the Norwegian Food Safety Authority lists showing the daily mortality of fish at unit level. Unless otherwise specified, the Norwegian Food Safety Authority shall lead the regional monitoring and take necessary decisions to implement the provisions laid down in or pursuant to this Regulation in accordance with articles 23-26 of the Food Act. In special cases exemptions from the provisions of this Regulation shall be granted, provided they do not conflict with international obligations, including the EEA Agreement.
