Abstract
It is not permitted to fish for redfish in ICES statistical areas XII and XIV and NAFO area outside any jurisdiction, and in Greenland's economic zone in 2014. However, it is allowed to catch a maximum of 600 tons of demersal redfish in ICES statistical areas XII and Va in Greenland's economic zone and from 10 May 2014 - up to 2 320 tons of pelagic redfish (Sebastes mentella) within an area bound by coordinates listed under article 3. This restriction also applies to fishing activities in Greenland's economic zone. This Regulation gives guidelines on allowed fishing method and gear (nets with mesh no larger than 100 mm.). Trawl fishing vessels are allowed to participate in fishing activities in adherence to Regulation No. 1419. Non-compliance shall be subject to penalties in adherence to articles 62-62, 64-65 of Act No. 37 and article 31 of Act No. 15.
