Abstract
The purpose of this Regulation, adopted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, is to regulate the domestic marketing of Norwegian-produced casein. Casein refers to to rennet or acid casein made from cow and goat milk in accordance with the Regulation No. 1554 of 13 May 1997. Price reduction is granted for casein used as an ingredient in the food industry. A written agreement between the selling dairy company and the customer regarding the scope of use and final sale of the raw material shall be in place. The scheme is open to all dairy companies that produce casein and are participants in the price equalization scheme for milk.
