Abstract
The purpose of the present Regulation is to manage wildlife in accordance with the Biodiversity Act, so that nature's productivity and biodiversity are preserved. Within this framework, wildlife management shall take into account animal welfare and animal health, research, education, agriculture, outdoor recreation, businesses and other public and private interests. The Regulation contains the following chapters: 1. General provisions; 2. Capture of wildlife; 3. Trapping and other removal of wildlife; 4. Keeping of wildlife in captivity; 5. Wildlife animals that have escaped; 6. Releasing of wildlife animals into nature; 7. Handling of dead wildlife; 8. Final provisions. The annex provides an overview of species that are subject to registration and marking requirements.
