Abstract
The documents sets regulations for the calculation of quota factors in fishery for mackerel. When calculating the quotas for mackerel purse seine vessels authorized to operate certain types of fishing and hunting shall use factor 4.57, whilst the quota factor calculation for small purse seine vessels is between 21.35 and 28 meters. When calculating quotas for mackerel for small purse seiners with length between 21.35 and 28 meters shall use factor 4 , 23. For vessels with mackerel trawl permit, the applied factor is of 0.95.
