Regulation No. 736 on anadromous salmonids fishing.

Abstract
The Regulation authorizes sea fishing for anadromous salmonids only with a rod, handline, trawling, wedge nets, hook yarn in periods and areas established by the Norwegian Directorate for Nature Management, which is responsible of regulating fishing rules. It is not permitted to Norwegian citizens, Norwegian residents and Norwegian companies to fish for salmon in the area outside 12 nautical miles from each coastal baseline north of 36 north latitude. The ban does not apply to fishing which is subject to the regulations of the North Atlantic salmon conservation organization (NASCO).
