Abstract
This Regulation gives provisions for the fight against antibiotic-resistant bacteria by providing financial compensation for production losses during the detection of MRSA, and imposing slaughter of swine herds. The compensation shall facilitate compliance with the Food Act requirements and obligations associated. The regulations herewith are intended to ensure consumer protection and apply to owners of animals with MRSA bacteria proliferation potential which have been ordered to be slaughtered in adherence to article 23 of Food Act.
