Abstract
The purpose of this Regulation is to prevent, contain and eradicate the salmon parasite Gyrodactylus salaris disease in aquatic animals. The regulations establish a control area consisting of a surveillance zone of rivers and their catchment Storfjord, Kaafjorddalen Maalselv and Balsfjord municipalities, Troms county. The zone includes anadromous stretch of the following rivers in the area: Skibotn river, Kitdalselva, Signaldalselva and Balsfjord River.
The Regulation consists of VII Chapters: Purpose, scope and definitions (I); Measures applicable in control zone (II); Measures applicable throughout the control area (III); Measures regarding the surveillance zone (IV); Measures by chemical treatment (V); Repealing the control zone (VI); Other provisions (VII).
