Abstract
This Regulation applies to the inspection of animal and public health conditions of import, transit and temporary storage in Norway of milk and milk products from third countries. The Regulation adheres to articles 23-24 and 26 of the Food Safety Act with regard to necessary compliance of supervision and inspection provisions laid down by the Act. The Regulation adopts as Commission Regulation (EU) No 605/2010 laying down animal and public health and veterinary certification conditions for the introduction into the European Union of raw milk and dairy products intended for human consumption and its amendments (being part of the Chapter I of Annex I of the EEA Agreement).
Appendix 1 - List of third countries from which it is allowed to import milk or dairy products to the EU, specifying the type of heat treatment applicable.
