Abstract
The purpose of this Regulation is to prevent the spreading of avian influenza in connection with imports from Switzerland. In case of suspected or outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza, subtype H5N1 in wild birds, it is prohibited to introduce the following from the areas in Switzerland which are subject to restrictions imposed by the country's authorities accordingly the restrictions in Decision 2006/563 / EC and Decision 2006/415 / EC: (a) chickens, turkeys, guinea fowls, ducks, geese, quails, pigeons, pheasants, rapeseed and ostriches being reared; or are held in captivity for the production of meat or human eggs, for breeding or for the release of game (b) hatching eggs from the species referred to in (a) (c) other birds, cf. Regulation (EC) No. 139/2013 Article 3a and their hatching eggs d) meat, ground meat, cooked meat and mechanically boned meat from bird game (e) meat products consisting of or containing bird meat (f) raw pet food and raw materials for use in the production of feed containing bird game components; (g) untreated trophies of all birds.
