Regulations No. 127 on quotas of blue whiting (Micromesistius poutassou) fishing in 2012.

The regulation applies to the quota for blue whiting (Micromesistius poutassou) fishing in 2012. Trawl fishing vessel quotas (in the territorial waters and exclusive economic zone, in the fishery zone around Jan Mayen, in the fishery protection zone around Svalbard, in international waters and in the Faroese zone) is calculated on the basis of a quota unit set at 1840 tons. Landing of catch shall be authorized to vessels with greater cargo volume of 1000 m3 and trawl permit for vessels measuring minimum 28 meters of length or with greater cargo volume than 250 m3 for Norwegian spring-spawning herring or mackerel fishing (in adherence to articles 2-7 and 2-11 of Regulation No. 1157).
