Abstract
The Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines (Exemptions and Prohibited Substances) Amendment Regulations 2022 introduce changes to the existing regulations for agricultural compounds and veterinary medicines. The amendment includes new provisions regarding "inhibitor substances," which are now classified as agricultural compounds. The amendment also updates Schedule 2 by inserting "inhibitor substances" as a new item, specifying conditions for their sale and exemption from registration unless registered as a trade name product. This update aligns with the evolving regulatory framework aimed at controlling the use and sale of these substances.
