Abstract
Notwithstanding anything in the Water and Soil Conservation Act 1967 or in any other enactment, the rights relating to water of the Clutha river and lake specified in section 3 are hereby granted to the Minister of Energy. The rights include the right to dam the Clutha river, to divert its waters, discharging of water. Exercise of rights shall be subject to conditions listed in the Schedules. If any dispute or difference arises relating to the interpretation of any condition set out in the Schedule to this Act, it shall be referred to the Authority for determination, and the Authority's determination shall be final.
