Abstract
This Order imposes a levy on cereal silage harvested by growers in New Zealand. The levy is payable to the Foundation for Arable Research Incorporated. The levy is calculated on the basis of the area of land from which cereal silage is harvested. The levy is intended to fund activities specifically related to cereal silage, including research and development, education and training, and collection and publication of information.
The Order further provides for: record-keeping requirements of growers who harvest cereal silage, mediation of disputes, etc.
Entry into force notes
This Order enters into force on 31 July 2012.
Notes
This Order expires 6 years after it is made by virtue of section 13(1) of the Commodity Levies Act 1990, unless earlier revoked.
