Abstract
These Regulations amend the Fisheries (Amateur Fishing) Regulations, 1986.
The amendments include: the insertion of a new definition of amateur-fishing vessel operator in regulation 3; the insertion of a new regulation 26A providing for the registration of amateur-fishing charter vessel operators; the insertion of a new regulation 26B on reporting obligations of amateur-fishing charter vessel operators; and minor changes to regulation 29(1) addressing offences and penalties.
